I am a clinical social worker focused on women’s mental health and trauma recovery. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy, and affirming of women and femmes across diverse backgrounds.
I have experience with domestic violence, personality disorders, sexual trauma, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, identity-related concerns, and family conflict. When requested, I provide culturally informed education on traditional medicines and healing practices rooted in African spiritual traditions as clinically appropriate adjuncts to therapy, coordinating with medical providers as needed.
I provide CBT- and DBT-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, clinical hypnotherapy and guided imagery, somatic regulation skills, structured journaling, and trauma-focused psychoeducation. Please feel free to set up an initial consultation.
